Friendship parachutes

Taking a break from the week for a girlfriend lunch. My theme today is stop and converse with the roses, feel the breeze, enjoy an omelette in the middle of the week and celebrate friendship and life’s unusual road. Friends are the parachutes that catch us when we freefall out of the airplane and aren’t quite sure we want to land. Friends see us through marriages, the birth of our children, the passing of our parents, new jobs and lost jobs, and through the devastation and wasteland that accompanies divorce before we are born again.
