"Audacious" describes someone confident and daring or bold and surprising. As a kid, I loved the possibilities that “audacious” presented. Isn’t childhood filled with innocent confidence, endless escapades, and bold and daring leaps of faith? At some point over the years, as I step-stumbled into young womanhood, I relegated the word (and my audacious nature) to the negative trait chamber. Life’s unexpected boulders and bruisings, paired with society’s tempering of the feminine spirit, assumed control. Today, consider reclaiming your audaciousness.
