Hello, young heart.

Sometimes it's insightful to take yourself back in time to when your heart and identity were first developing; a heart consciousness was awakening. This old typewriter reminds me of the period of my life when I first started imagining I could one day become a writer. My earliest memory of writing and creating was in elementary school when I constructed a tactile portraiture of my Kindergarten self with accompanying copy. I can't quite pull up from my memory what my first written words were; however, I know they were my somewhat shaky first steps into realizing I was a separate human being, different from everyone else ... a cosmic shooting star of awareness from a 5-year-old!

We are all different, unique shooting stars with individual beginnings that helped form the adults we have become.
